Been a fan of Ross, yesterday though he cost us the game, I have had a bellyful of managers playing negative and being scared of getting beat, yesterday was the1st time I thought you are not the man to take us forward.
Now that everyone has had there night in Trafalgar Square we can try and get back to beating Accrington, I hope we go up automatically but cannot see it.
Only Sunderland can mess up not winning a lower league tier cup and yet again we are the glorious losers with dignity. For once I would like us to be the nasty winners with a win at all cost mentality.

His reluctance to grab games by the scruff of the neck has cost us points and I have big doubts about promotion this season. It would be a shame in many ways if Ross went, but I would have no faith in him getting right next season what he got wrong this season if we don't go up.

Very disappointed with the result on Sunday, obviously. However, the weekend I had in London was one of the best of my life.Trafalgar Square on Saturday night was a moment very few football fans can experience. We lost by the narrowest of margins and our shortcomings are nothing we didn't know about.I know some on here didn't approve but there are 40k plus fans who would argue that days like these are what it is all about. I had to sit on my own but the bloke next to me had to as well. He had flown from Sweden to see us. Although he had only been to a handful of Sunderland games, he was a true fan who knew all about our team. I tried to upload some pics but they were all too large unfortunately. Never mind.

Glad you enjoyed the day even if the result never went our way. I will now wait for my Wembley trip for the playoffs, that's if we get there. I'm still buzzing from 73 so you will remember your day out for some time matey. I missed the other finals with working abroad, still kinda kicking myself for not going though.

Absolutely spot on mate, we had a class weekend, and the fact it was not an "important" game made it all the more enjoyable.. Anyone who thinks that following a football team is not about weekends like that and feeling proud win or loose, watching players that actually care league 1 standard or not should probably just pretend to follow man city instead and celebrate another championship with a superstar team and superstar manager.. And leave the rest of us to just enjoy the, at times extremely frustrating ride. The weekend ends game just confirmed to me that is really doesn't matter what level you play at. I support Sunderland, the opposition or name of the trophy makes no difference to me.

That's 5 times now, seeing us lose. Still, how many supporters get there at all? If we do play in the play off final I won't be there but I would be if it were possible.
