Before you book the trip, make sure you can get tickets. It looks like it will be a completely different system to normal and probably will bugger up given the amount and demand and short turnaround time. You have to go through Ticketmaster now and not SAFC booking office, just registered on Ticketmaster, it sends you there if you try to log into your SAFC account. Just hope the fans who have been going to the cup games get first dibs on the tickets, but somehow I dont think so

You would think those fans who regularly go to home and away games would be rewarded with cheaper concession rates. But the Sunderland end where most supporters will be is Cat 4, 5 & 6. £20, £28 & £36 But I still agree with you

They have Les, season holders first dibs, account holder 2nd dib IF you have a ticket for the next home game, fly way to sell tickets for a home game, then the likes of me, 3rd dib. can't make my mind up wether I want to go or not, could buy a ticket and sell it on for a profit, like some will do on Ticketmaster 🙄 Wouldn't do that though

I've just bought tickets for my dad and two sisters. Haven't got one for myself though as I share a season card with my sister so haven't got a buying history. Never mind. Still going to London and hotel and trains are booked. It wil be the first time I've spent quality time with both of my sisters in probably 30 years so it will be brilliant whatever happens.
However :-) if anybody does have a season card and would be willing to let me use it to buy a ticket, then I would be eternally grateful. Hope springs eternal but isn't getting it's hopes up.

I understand that it's easier for the club to go down the Ticketmaster route but many older fans are not so computer friendly. I hope that people don't miss out because of this. I always think ticket master will be expensive - they have to add their cut on top of the ticket price surely? I bought two adult tickets and one concessionary for my father and it was Category 6 (Up in the gods) and came to £59. Two £20 tickets, one £10 ticket, £3.00 booking fee for each. I tripled checked as I assumed there was a mistake. A pleasant surprise.

www.safc.com/news/ticket-news/2019/march/priority-two-change-of-sale-timesWEMBLEY UPDATE: Priority two, change of sale timesSunderland AFC Sunderland AFC 11 March, 2019 Supporters who are eligible to apply for tickets in the Priority 2 purchase period are advised that there has been a change to the on-sale times. Online sales will now open at 10am on Tuesday 12 March and telephone bookings will be available from 11am. To activate simply click the link www.safc.com/activate and follow the instructions. Online: www.eticketing.co.uk/safc (open at 10am) Due to anticipated demand, supporters are strongly recommended to use the Ticketmaster online system as the easiest and most convenient method of securing their ticket. Telephone: 0844 453 9015 (open at 11am) Telephone lines will be open from 8am-8pm on weekdays (except for Friday 08 when they open at 9am and Friday 15 March when they open at 10am) and 8am-6pm at the weekend. If you're not guaranteed a ticket on Priority 2, what is the point of Priority 3

OK so who has got tickets?
We got 3 on priority 2 and I've just picked up 1 today on priority 3
Our problem is we are 5 but could only activate 4 accounts. So it looks like one of us. Probably my dad will miss out.
Probably clutching at straws but does anyone have a spare ticket?

www.safc.com/news/ticket-news/2019/march/wembley-tickets-sold-outWembley tickets sold outSunderland AFC will be backed by a sea of red and white in the Checkatrade Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 31 March. Tickets for the highly-anticipated fixture against fellow Sky Bet League One promotion-chasers Portsmouth are now SOLD OUT. An extremely limited number of tickets went on sale on Wednesday morning after the club secured an extra allocation from the EFL, and these were quickly snapped up by the club’s supporters. As a result, Jack Ross and his players will be backed by almost 40,000 fans when they travel to the capital. Tickets went on sale on Friday to the club’s 24,000 season card holders before entering phase two earlier this week, as supporters with a recent home league ticket purchase history were given the opportunity to secure their seat. After the club’s allocation sold out during phase three, the club’s managing director, Tony Davison, said: “Our upcoming trip to Wembley promises to be a special occasion for everybody at the club. “The fact tickets have sold out within just a few days tells you all you need to know about our supporters and their loyalty, but it comes as no surprise as they have travelled far and wide throughout the season. “As a club, we appreciate that any time a fixture sells out, some supporters will be left disappointed, but we will be working hard to ensure that wherever you are in the world, you feel a part of a big day for our football club.”
