Portsmouth have only managed to sell 29,000 according to the Echo That's more than they were expecting. Their official fan club urged the fans to boycott the competition after the introduction of Premier League U23 sides. They re-emphasised that position at the start of the season

Wife threw a total wobbler after my last run in, got knocked off by a hit & run driver on the wrong side of the road, but in reality I don't miss it.

Dont think my mrs is particularly happy about the prospect of me getting the bike back out, I've only had one off and that's almost 7 years ago to the week, and I also have to be honest that I haven't massively missed it whilst I've not been riding it, but it's a waste sat in the garage gathering dust, and if I sell it now that'll be it, so I'm giving it a last try this summer and then I'll decide

Why is it an early Kick Off? Probably because it's a Sunday Les, let the support get home early for work the next day 🙄

Well, four of us are travelling to London. Myself, my dad and my two sisters. Unfortunately we still only have three tickets. I'm not complaining. It is what it is. My problem is this. I honestly wouldn't mind going to London, taking part in the Covent Garden / Trafalgar Square party, and then finding fellow Sunderland supporters without a ticket and watching the match in a pub, accompanied by copious amounts of alcohol. But my Dad, being the wonderful man that he is, insists that his 'bairns' (I'm 51) go to the game as he has already seen a Sunderland victory at Wembley. This is lovely, I am so grateful but at the same time, this is probably my Dad's last chance to see Sunderland at Wembley and as such, makes me feel like a heap of shit. This is not a complaint. I'm just interested. What would you do?

I would see about floating tickets, are you on twitter? There are a couple of SAFC groups where people look for tickets, I reckon you might pick one up next week or so, but you will probably be sat away from everyone.
I would personally let my dad go but if he was that insistent would go, its Wembley but it is the Checkatrade bit of a fun cup, not a FA Cup or League Cup or Play Off final, I think there is a good chance we will be back at Wembley in May anyway and would go then or the next time we get to Wembley which we will do.
Im part of a few whats app groups with sunderland supporters if any tickets come up I will let you know though.

Block 522 row 8. Only been once to Wembley (old one) with Sunderland for the play off against Charlton ☹ & could only get tickets for Charlton end 🤐😁 so looking forward to being amongst the Sunderland supporters. Mind I went twice with Carlisle Utd when they played in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final (the Paint Pot 😁) both were great days but I couldn't get excited like.

I just got my ticket, Block 110, behind the goal but high enough to give me a decent view. First time at new Wembley and though I'll be sitting away from my genetic family I'll be with my SAFC family. Wonderful.
