City banned from Champions League for the next two seasons and fined Ā£25 million.
Money not a problem, but they will be seething about the ban š

Iām betting they win their appeal š” IF, what they, (City), are claiming in their statement, is true, then they seem to have a good case. If nothing else this sort of investigation needs to be done independently of the organisation who are going to be the dishing out the penalties. In football terms it 's like the home side providing the Referee from their own staff. But the football authorities have allowed both City and PSG to be bought by, in effect, small but insanely rich countries. What did they expect these owners to do. Settle for a spot, mid table in the third division.!!!! I like what UEFA are trying to do but in deciding to take on some of the richest people on the Planet they should have firstly made sure that their rules and procedures were watertight.

A quote from todays BBC Gossip Column is intriguing, at least it is to me.
IF, this is true, a suspicious mind could look for a reason why Man City have been charged while PSG have not.
I am reminded of the old saying, 'In England, Justice is open to all, like the Ritz Hotel'.
(Not that this applies to City of course)
Paris St-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who has been charged by Swiss prosecutors following an investigation into the awarding of tournament media rights, previously agreed to pay Fifa a substantial settlement fee that led to the world governing body dropping a bribery complaint. Football has long since sold its soul.
It actually makes me think twice about what is so great about being in the PL.

Is this akin to Sunderland getting their comeuppance back in the 50's?
Whilst I applaud FFP, the whole reason it cam about was to maintain the status quo & stop another "Chelsea" from gate crashing the party.
Football is a money making spiv industry for UEFA and the people who surround it. Any moral high ground on either side is pretty low level at best.
