Just read a heart warming story on a Sunderland supporters page on Facebook.
An 87 year old man was having a pint in a South Shields pub while watching the Sunderland game on tv. He got chatting to a couple of young lads and asked how you bought tickets through Ticket Master, he didn't understand how to use the Internet.
The two young lads asked for all of his details but left his credit card on the table. They returned a few minutes later and told the old man that it was all sorted and he would receive his tickets in the post in a couple of days.
The old man was confused and asked how they did that without his card?
They told him the tickets were a gift from them!

The Chronicle has picked up the story. www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/sunderland-final-ticket-wembley-87-15960121How Sunderland fans went above and beyond to make sure 87-year-old supporter got his Wembley ticketAn elderly Sunderland season ticket holder struggled to work out how buy his Checkatrade Trophy Final ticket - what happened next is brilliant How Sunderland fans helped 87-year-old get Wembley ticket after he struggled with TicketmasterAn elderly Sunderland AFC season ticket holder has shared a heartwarming story about how fellow fans made sure he got his ticket for Wembley. The Black Cats head to the national stadium to take on Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy final on Sunday, March 31. After years of relegation battles and drops down the divisions, it's set to be a big day out the fans who have been starved of success, and offers a chance to watch their team lift a cup on Wembley's famous steps. But one lifelong supporter struggled to work out how to secure his ticket, as fans - even those with season tickets - have to activate an account on Ticketmaster to get theirs for the final. The 87-year-old Stadium of Light season card holder phoned BBC Radio Newcastle's Total Sport, and explained buying from Ticketmaster is 'a bit beyond' him. Desperate to secure his seat for Wembley, the supporter flagged down fellow Sunderland fans in a South Shields pub on Saturday, to ask them to help him navigate the ticket buying process. In the Total Sport clip, the pensioner explains how the supporters went above and beyond to secure his ticket for the final, and did something very special to thank him for his years of loyalty, through thick and thin.
