Full ReportKyril Louis-Dreyfus and Kristjaan Speakman have a new manager to hire in the summer, and defeats like the one vs Blackburn Rovers does their chances of finding a top coach no good. The likes of Will Still and even Steve Cooper will see this result and surely be deterred at the possibility of coming to Wearside. The current playing squad simply isn’t up to standard and with Jack Clarke set to leave in the summer, potentially along with the likes of Anthony Patterson, the squad will only worsen. And there’s decreasing faith in Speakman’s transfer acumen following this season, so there’s little hope that Sunderland can put the Clarke and Patterson millions to proper use in the summer. It’s certainly a crucial summer ahead with a lot to fix

Clarke will leave as well - it will be interesting to see how much of the finances raised from sales is used to buy new players.
I would put money on it being a tiny percentage.

I can see Ballard getting snapped up as well the way he's been playing for us an NI That will be a couple of centre backs we would need as O9 showed against Blackburn he is not a central defender

No indication of what the money would be used for.

Beggars belief he would bring in an outsider for that sort of money, hardly buy a decent striker 🙄

Hi mother is the person with all the wealth and it sounds to me as though she bought him the club to prove himself.

Supposedly, after a striker from West Ham , he will be out of contract at the end of the season, and we'll probably get him for next to nothing, and he's a kid........surprisingly Also after another keeper from Wigan, why ?? Really getting my juices flowing 😌
