SAFCLads set for final game of 2023Sunderland AFC round off 2023 with a trip to Rotherham United on Friday in the Sky Bet Championship. The Lads travel to the AESSEAL New York Stadium (KO 7.45pm) looking to make it back-to-back wins on the road following Saturday’s win at Hull City. Opposition The Millers have picked up 16 points from their opening 24 games and currently sit bottom of the table. Leam Richardson’s side have registered three wins, seven draws and 14 defeats, but come into the fixture off the back of a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough. Former Wigan Athletic manager Richardson was appointed Head Coach of the Millers in early December following the departure of Matt Taylor. Sunderland ran out 2-1 winners at the Stadium of Light in the reverse fixture, with Jobe scoring his first goals in red and white. Team News Niall Huggins has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after picking up a significant knee injury during last week’s defeat to Coventry City. Bradley Dack will also be unavailable after limping off during Saturday’s win at Hull. Aji Alese, Dennis Cirkin and Jay Matete have all trained ahead of the fixture – Corry Evans remains out.

Poor performance so far, boos from our fans and can't blame them.
Ba crap, Aouchie, Bellingham both Poor, Ekwah not in the game, Wish Clarke would pass it first time instead of wanting to best someone, few times he's kept hold of it too long instead of playing someone in, by then he gives it too late and play is broken up.
Patterson has put us in trouble on a few occasions by not coming for the ball, albeit he'd pulled off a couple of good saves.
