Better performance from England last night and through as group leaders. Second half only Les & it was against Wales after all. First half we were terrible

I don't seem able to get into this World Cup at all.
No enthusiasm for it in any way.
Wrong place. Wrong Time. No rational reasons for awarding it, other than to fill FIFA's coffers.

Think a lot of people are in the same frame of mind the standard of football at this World Cup has been mostly abysmal - apart from this afternoon’s game between Portugal and Morocco.

Largely thanks to F.I.F.A. and the officials. It was obvious last night that they didn't want us to win . . . . quite a few of the decisions were blatantly and obviously deliberate cheating, I'm afraid

Hopefully this time around the press will not vilify any of the players.

We were not good enough, too negative in the first half, better second, but their midfield bossed it.

Best 45 minutes of football played in many a world cup final last night. From 75 minutes on it was well worth the watch. The previous 75 minutes was desperate, think even Sunderland would have had a chance against the French they way they played right up until they scored.

Think a lot of people are in the same frame of mind the standard of football at this World Cup has been mostly abysmal - apart from this afternoon’s game between Portugal and Morocco. I read that in addition to the four Euro MPs who have been accused of taking bribes from Qatar, and suspended, a further SIXTY are under investigation. So, can we assume that The Olympics will be the next major event that will be 'Sportswashed'
