I'm actually the opposite Les, used to be a Royalist but not anymore, they have mostly been divorced, shagging about, perving two faced twats living in the lap of luxury. Sorry someone has lost their mother and granny but that's about it. They didn't mourn my parents passing so I'll pass on mourning Lizzy. Firmly in the camp of the abolitionists. The Old Girl did a fantastic job of prolonging the life of the monarchy as an institution & she dutifully served her country as far better than a huge number of our elected representatives have done.
Indifferent to the fact that she's died. As Ray said, no-one in their family mourned my grandparents despite them doing their bit in two world wars & I certainly will not be wearing black.
