Don't know if it's just me, but the standard in referring has drastically reduced, some of the decisions they make is scandalous, not just Sunderland games but all championship and premiership games, watched all the highlights recently. Don't get me on about VAR 🤯

Don't get me on about VAR 🤯 It seems to have got worse with VAR and it was brought in to make the game better, make accurate decisions and help the games flow. One Premiership game was delayed over 5 minutes while the ref decided if he had the bottle to over-rule VAR or not. Pathetic

Don't get me on about VAR 🤯 It seems to have got worse wit VAR and it was brought in to make the game better, make accurate decisions and help the games flow. One Premiership game was delayed over 5 minutes while the ref decided if he had the bottle to over-rule VAR or not. Pathetic Incorrect Refereeing decisions have been with us forever. VAR, while not intended to eliminate these, was at least SUPOSED to reduce the obvious mistakes that might change the game or the result. But that's not the way it's being used. Instead it is being used as like a sporting Human Rights Act, a god-send to those who take pleasure in nit-picking over trivial infringements. It's the way it's being used that's the problem. Do other countries suffer like we do? If not why? How come every other Sport that makes use of the review system finds that it has improved their game. What's so special about football? For many years the suggestion that retired professional players should be given the opportunity to be fast-tracked through the Refereeing system. THIS looks to me like an even better idea now.
