Just been looking at the substitutions, I only watched the first half hour or so, Maguire was one of our better players, he pushed us forward, his through balls created most of the attacks we had.
He got taken off on 70 mins and replaced with Honeyman, they scored on 73 mins, for me that ain't no coincidence.

We have had 15 draws from winning positions, Ross needs to change his tactics, our defence is terrible but our attack is good and midfield is good.
Playoffs we can still go up but not confident, gutted and hate this league another season in it kills me for this but keep Ross for one more season build and go up next season.

If we'd finished third & were playing either Doncaster or Peterborough I'd be fairly confident of making Wembley (where we'd lose), but I doubt we'll finish third now, and I really can't see us beating Charlton over two games.
As has been mentioned elsewhere, it may well be for the better that we don't go up. If we assume that we have a 18 man regular first team squad, in all honesty less than half are capable of playing at a higher level. Basically means yet another new side. The board admit they don't have the money, and Ross hasn't exactly pulled up any roots with the players he's brought in. Next season at a higher level would most probably lead to another disaster.

I see your point, the owners have said we would have a Championship budget, think we would be okay once we got rid of the league 1 players and added for the championship.
We can beat Charlton and nothing to fear re Portsmouth drawn both games and only lost because of a sending off.
Play to our strengths and not defend a whole half we would be automatically promoted by now.

Charlton are the team with the momentum, something we have not had for some time. They are the best team I have seen play at SoL. Luton, Pompey, Barnsley and Donny are not good sides, we made them look good. Ross needs to attack these sides, its shit or bust now. I honestly don't think the owners have the sort of budget for us to do well in the Championship, they will be hoping some rich suitor fancies a stab at us if we go up and make a profit to boot.

If we go up we will be a yo-yo club
Up and down each season unless the owners sell and walk away with a small profit or challenge Juan Sartori to put his money into the club.

Mr Ross has been critical of his team after last night's performance and not getting automatic promotion. Take a good hard look in the mirror and you will see half the problem

I probably disagree, I think we will be competitive in the championship when we get there, then if we go up from the Championship then Santori comes in as he is the one with the £££££££££ that takes us to the next level.
They have said that if they steady the ship they will compete in each league to the point where if they cannot take it further they sell, for a massive profit of course, they will sell the club but not until the job is done, I think we will be in the Premiership within the next 3 to 4 seasons if we go up this season.
Crazy thinking but its do able.
