Dan Neil is feckin useless, he lost the lad, too slow to keep up then slings in a tackle, never going to get the ball.

I wouldn't say he's useless, Ray but I do think he's a liability at times and I'd much rather see Browne in that position. I don't think that'll happen though. |

He should have tackled long long before then, he should have ran him wide but he hasn't got the pace, the guy should have got nowhere near our box, all down to Neil. |

I wouldn't say he's useless, Ray but I do think he's a liability at times and I'd much rather see Browne in that position. I don't think that'll happen though. The lad is vastly overrated Gaz, he does not produce much in the game, doesn't tackle that much either, most of his passes are side ways or backwards. Said it before, check his stats for last season, appalling If you want a midfielder who doesn't score goals, who provides no assists, who doesn't win tackles, who just wants sit in front of the back four and pass the ball sideways. If I'm honest Ray, I went off him last year when he got himself sent off (because that's what happened) against Middlesbrough. All the league managers were briefed about new rules about back-chatting the ref, including yellow or red cards before the season started. Even if this wasn't conveyed to him from Tony Mowbray (doubtful) he must have at least seen it on Sky Sports News. I'm just a fan and I knew of the rules, so he has no excuse.
Under all circumstances, I EXPECT my team\club captain to not only adhere to the rules but to ensure his team do too.
I've never trusted him since.
