Full StorySunderland favourite Marco Gabbiadini has voiced his concerns over the Black Cats ‘keeper Speaking on BBC Radio Newcastle’s Total Sport. Former Sunderland favourite hits out at star player Gabbiadini said:“Plymouth scored two goals from nothing. I’m sure the lads would be disappointed. And a couple of individual errors, which was something that happened to us at this time last season as well. “I think also the goalkeeper’s got to be looked at – a really stupid clearance that he made. Defended well from the winger and got the ball to his hands – he threw it straight back to them and they ended up shooting within two seconds.” A chance for Moore?Experienced goalkeeper Simon Moore joined Sunderland this summer as competition for Patterson. Moore arrives after spells with Sheffield United and Coventry City and has just under 20 appearances to his name in League One and the Championship. However, as is the case with most ‘keepers, Moore has not joined to just be the number two. He will have arrived with the desire to show he has what it takes to become a regular at this level, not to just sit behind Patterson and wait for chances in cup competitions. Should Patterson’s form continue, Le Bris may consider bringing Moore in sooner rather than later. The current number one has a lot of credit in the bank though having served brilliantly since breaking through the academy. New arrival Moore will have to perform at a high level to usurp him from the starting spot.

It's nice that he refers to the club as 'us' but I would prefer him to keep his negativity about S.A.F.C. to himself 👍

It's nice that he refers to the club as 'us' but I would prefer him to keep his negativity about S.A.F.C. to himself 👍 Sorry mate, he's got every right to be critical, dont think it is negativity, he's only saying what a lot of supporters are saying, including me believe it or not 🙄😁Patterson ain't playing well, he hasn't played well for some time, my heart is in my mouth every he gets the ball. He doesn't command his box, he doesn't come for crosses, his distribution is woeful. I said it ages ago that he needs dropped to give him a boot up the arse. To top it all, he's overweight to me, got a paunch and arse as big as a double decker bus 🙄

I think Patto knows his place is more or less guaranteed, needs a manager with a pair to put him in his place. It's a sorry state of affairs that a former Sunderland Pro needs to come out and say what he sees week in week out and the past managers and goalkeeping coaches don't see it. Not unless they don't trust our number two.

To be fair the number 2 has only been at the club a couple of months.

To be fair the number 2 has only been at the club a couple of months. What about the lad we got from Man Utd, he left 🤔
