Plymouth haven't started the season well and are struggling. Lads should win it comfortably 🫣
Another long jaunt for the supporters, more so Roker if he goes down.
I've drove down a few times when I worked in Devonport naval base, not for the fient hearted.

Les, you've got the name of the team wrong, it should say 'Wayne Rooneys Plymouth. I had forgotten Rooooo was the Plymouth gaffer - that means it’s a definite 3 points for us. How’s it going Gaz? Have you heard anything from Steve (Sisyphus) he hasn’t posted for months. I was wondering if he had been ill?

That's a shame, he's a nice bloke. I wonder if he just got sick of things after the Michael Beale fiasco? If that's the case, I'm not sure I'd blame him.

safePreview: Lads face EFL's longest trip to PlymouthSunderland face the longest trip in the EFL this weekend as they return to Sky Bet Championship action against Plymouth Argyle. Here is all you need to know as the Lads' head to Devon in the hopes of maintaining their 100% record. OppositionAfter promotion to the Sky Bet Championship in 2023, Argyle narrowly avoided relegation by a point last season after a 1-0 win over Hull City on the final day secured their second tier status. Former Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney was appointed as manager over the summer but Argyle are yet to taste victory in the league this season with two draws and two defeats from four games. Former Sunderland academy graduate Bali Mumba is a key member of Rooney’s first-team squad and looks set to make his 100th appearance for Plymouth this weekend. On the Lads last visit to home park, they suffered a 2-0 defeat on the south coast in November 2023. Team NewsRégis Le Bris has confirmed deadline day signing Ahmed Abdullahi will be out of action for 10 to 12 weeks with a groin injury. Salis Ahmed Samed will miss this weekend’s trip to Plymouth but should be available for selection over the next fortnight. Fellow deadline signings Chris Mephan and Milan Aleksić are available for selection. Long-term absentees Aji Alese, Jenson Seelt and Niall Huggins are all continuing their respective rehabilitation programmes. Travelling FansSunderland fans are once again showcasing their unwavering support for the Club by making the mammoth journey this weekend to back the Lads. Keep an eye out across our social media channels on X, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp to witness the biggest commitment of support in the land as we pay tribute to our Wearside faithful. StreamingTickets for the 800-mile round trip are now sold out with over 2,000 supporters making the journey to the south coast. Streaming for the game is unavailable to supporters based in the United Kingdom but SAFC Live is available to overseas supporters excluding Russia and UK territories. There will also be a live pre-match show on our YouTube channel which will begin at 2:15pm.

I wonder how many new faces we will see this afternoon. Not many I don't think Les, just depends on how we are doing in the game.

Dan Neil back in 🤨
Feel for Browne, he had a great game last time out and showed he is equal if not better than Neil. Neil should have had to fight for his place.
But that's me, never been a great admirer of Neil 🤪
