Another great win, never played great to be honest but who cares.
Riggs and Browne played really well.
From what I saw of Isidor, think the big lad can handle himself up front.
Don't know what 09 was thinking about.

Don't know what 09 was thinking about. Sure he should have had a shout - there was a man behind he could have left the ball for.

Don't know what 09 was thinking about. We played some very good stuff imo, Portsmouth's L1 play didn't make it a great game though tbf. The Portsmouth fans, in the pub after the games, were impressed with us. We had twice as many shots and the third goal was as good as it gets imo. I think you're right about Isidor, he's a very confident looking lad and really wants to play. There'll be some difficult decisions for RLB every time he picks the team.

If Pompey played like a L1 team in the first half, then so did we. 50-50 possession, same number of shots, same number of shots on target, nigh on identical passes completed, apart from us being very, very fortunate to be in front at half time. Third goal was very good, especially the tackle from Riggs to set us on our way. Pity the international break has come as we are on a roll.

Yeah, but it gives the new lads time to bed in with the squad.

Yeah, but it gives the new lads time to bed in with the squad. Don't be daft, I was talking about style not stats, there was only one team playing good football. As Danny Collins said, most of their passes were pointlessly played around at the back whereas our were in attacking areas. The move, for the first goal was sublime and we might well have scored, it didn't change the course of the game as we were already controlling the game. In fact, the move for all three goals were excellent, Portsmouth never came close to any of that.

He would say that, he's got rose coloured glasses like a lot of supporters, watching on the box is different from watching in the stands. Tell me if we attacked like he says , how many shots did we have on target in the first half? How many saves did their keeper make, he was less busier than Patterson

I've never seen a single post, from you, that doesn't contain criticism of the club or the supporters. Everyone we beat was 'unlucky' or 'didn't know what to expect', our goals were flukes, etc, and now you're saying we were no better than a team we absolutely pasted. Everyone, including the Portsmouth fans, their vlogs and even their manager accepted we were better and played above their standard. But you know better than everyone and every one of your posts is miserable, bitter and totally misguided ... ... thank heavens I'll never have to sit next to you at a match, I've absolutely no idea how anyone could tolerate you. Les, sorry mate, I tried to enjoy your forum but it's I get less whinging and criticism from the Mags I know. Good luck mate, I hope you enjoy the rest of the season, it's been incredible so fare watching these lads. All the best.

Good luck mate, I hope you enjoy the rest of the season, it's been incredible so fare watching these lads. All the best. Oops someone doesn’t like any criticism of his team. I stated that we were no better than Pompey in the first half and we were not, we were fortunate to go in at the break one up, i personally don’t think we did play well in the first half, I’ll stick to that assessment, people can have a point of view which is not the same as yours. I also stated we were far better in the second half and that our third goal was a good goal, especially the tackle from Riggs that started it off. never said any of our wins were ‘lucky’ they were all deserved, stated I thought a couple of the teams underestimated us from last seasons finish, which was not great and we were in free fall and they couldn’t pick themselves up when we overran them with our pressing play. We’ve had three good wins and sitting on top of the pile on merit and Supporters like yourself are getting worse than the scum up the road ‘ delusional ‘ thinking we are world beaters, I don’t think we should get too far ahead of ourselves, there’s a long way to go . So off you toddle with a petted lip if you want, dummy out the pram because someone disagrees with your view, I sincerely hope you don’t go because the forum wouldn’t be the same if we all agreed with each other. I can take criticism on the chin, just hope can Roker.

Apparently 'roker' has been banned already, for having a go at Ray because of his negativity 🤔
Anyway, he's asked me to apologise for the outburst, though that's the impression that Ray portrayed to him.
To be fair, I've had a go at you a few times 'cos of your negativity, Ray, in an attempt to give you a more positive outlook, but it'll probably never work 😇
I wouldn't have banned 'roker' mind, 'cos his opinions are as important as any of ours and he's a genuine bloke 👍

I actually don't think I'm negative, I've got my opinions on how the team performs, if I don't believe that the team or players are performing to the standard I expect then I'll say it as it is, none of the squad or management are above criticism, I will not brush it off because I'm a Sunderland supporter. In fact these last 4 games have given me a great deal of confidence 😆 Another thing I won't do is go over the top because we've won 4 games. I'm over the moon were top at this moment in time and enjoying it, but supporting the lads for so long I've found these things have a habit for turning around and booting us in the knackers. Roker is right on one thing, I am a grumpy (not sad) old c@nt. As for having a go at me, broad shoulders and water off a ducks back, being English and living in Scotland, I've been called a lot worse 😳 As for apologising, no need

Has he not been banned, then ?
He's more like me, being almost constantly positive, because we should enjoy times like now while we can 👍
