He says we're a 'big club'
I'm going to rattle a few cages here.
A lot of people keep stating we are a big club, I for one don't think we are, apart from two seasons under Reidy when we finished 6th in the EPL,most of my life we have been fighting relegation or being relegated, we've won sweet feck all apart from 73 (please, please, please, don't state that mickey mouse cup) We have a big fan base which most clubs would love, but does that make us a big club....no.

safePreview: Lads start the campaign in CardiffThe 2024-25 Sky Bet Championship gets under way this weekend, with Sunderland AFC travelling to South Wales to take on Cardiff City. Régis Le Bris takes his first competitive fixture for the Black Cats in Saturday’s early kick-off (12.30pm BST). Opposition Cardiff City ended the 2023-24 Sky Bet Championship campaign 12th having won 19, drawn five and lost 22 from the 46. Concluding with 62 points, the Bluebirds were 11 points from the Play-Off spots and 12 points from the relegation drop. First team manager, Erol Bulut, leads the South Wales side. Appointed in the summer of 2023, the former left-back has over 300 senior career appearances featuring for Frankfurt, Fenerbahce and Olympiacos. Bulut started his coaching career at Yeni Malatyaspor, who play their football in the second tier of Turkey before managing Alanyaspor, Fenerbahce and Gaziantep. The 49-year-old quickly became a fan favourite with three derby victories over fierce rivals, Swansea City. Bulut was rewarded with a two-year contract extension in June 2024. Four additions and five departures over the summer window, with Wilfried Kanga, Calum Chambers, Anwar El Ghazi and Chris Willock all joining the club. The two sides last met at the end of March with the Black Cats leaving Cardiff with all three points. A spot-kick from Adil Aouchiche and Jobe's back-post strike sealed the victory.

Mayenda is playing quite well, he controls the ball well and gets his shots off with his close control

Super duper Dan Neil is his usual slow in possession and releasing the ball, getting caught out easily 😳

Needs to freshen it up.
Mayenda should have scored, trying to get it on his left peg, should have used his right, hope we don't run that chance
