Terrible game of football considering what’s at stake.

Hoof, hoof, hoof Terrible game of football considering what’s at stake. Couldn't agree more Les, but we have been doing that all season, Pompey are not much better, neither will go up

Good to see that the experience gained in all those draws was put to good use. And I suggest you critics just reflect for a moment. The spoiling tactics WORKED. The Players all worked their collective tails off. I consider that the Manager got his tactics spot on. Proof of the pudding and all that. And as an added bonus I can't remember us having two Wembley appearances in the same season before. IF Charlton win tomorrow perhaps SAFC should invite BOTH Micky Gray and Clive Mendoca as mascots.

The spoiling tactics WORKED Poly they worked because we've played like that all season The Players all worked their collective tails off Yes they did mate, and well done for them. I consider that the Manager got his tactics spot on. Proof of the pudding and all that. His same tactics for most of the season, proof of the pudding that he's negative you mean 🤔, agreed 😀 We were lucky last night Poly mate, make no mistake, It's not a coincidence that our keeper gets man of the match and we scrape through, we are through though and hope it continues on to Wembley. Come on Sunderland 👍

Watch: www.safc.com/news/team-news/2019/may/portsmouth-a/ross-post-portsmouthRoss proud of players following semi-final winJack Ross is proud of the job he has done on and off the pitch at Sunderland following their Play-Off semi-final win over Portsmouth. The Black Cats got the better of Portsmouth over two legs as Chris Maguire’s goal at the Stadium of Light was all that separated the sides after 180 minutes of action. Speaking post-match following the Lads’ goalless draw on the south coast that was enough to seal Sunderland’s place in next Sunday’s Play-Off Final, Ross shared his immense pride. “What we have done is rekindle that relationship between the supporters and the club,” he said. “As a group of players, they recognise and buy into it and reflect how the fans feel about their club. “They play with a passion and while we haven’t always played brilliantly or won games, they’ve always had that commitment. “The supporters have responded to it and that’s shown by the numbers we’ve been backed with again tonight,” he continued. “We now have another big game to look forward too.”
